"We built our home in New Harbor overlooking a majestic granite ledge with a view of the Atlantic Ocean. We used only the best materials and construction. Imagine our disappointment when we discovered that the 30 year warranty, asphalt shingles we had installed 10 years ago, deteriorated, became brittle, curled, fell off and after the last storm this February, failed. You know, as we do, that the integrity, safety and value of a home is only as good as the roof that covers it.

Rather than replace it with a comparable asphalt shingle roof, we made the decision, after extensive research and consultation with no less than four roofing contractors, to proceed with standing seam steel, which would not necessitate removal of the existing roof. For us, a steel roof meant less ongoing maintenance, better longevity, and enhanced appearance.

We contact your company, C.O. Beck & Sons, and received an immediate response from Steve Hildreth. Sensing the exasperation we were feeling, he promptly offered to inspect the roof, and provide a detailed estimate for replacement. Despite your extensive schedule of ongoing work, he assured us that your company would start the project promptly and proceed daily until completed.

Your project manager, Dennis, along with Dave and Rhoads, your carpenter, immediately put our worries to rest. They began work as scheduled, arrived early each day and left late, worked professionally, were very pleasant to work with, cleaned up the project daily, and avoid even the least possible disruption of our daily activities.

The outcome is breathtaking. The slate blue roof complements the house and site perfectly and its installation was flawless.
